Convent Station is a section of Morris Township.  The area of Convent Station appears to have been named after then Convent at Saint Elizabeth and the Train Station that was built to serve it.  Hence the name: Convent Station.   It is located on Morris Township’s East Side sandwiched between Morristown and Madison, New Jersey. 

The community contains the Academy of Saint Elizabeth, founded in 1860 by the Sisters of Charity of Saint Elizabeth of New Jersey.  The academy is a private college preparatory school for young women with an enrollment of about 230 students.

Morris Township shares public schools with Morristown.  Convent Station Students usually go to Woodland School from kindergarten through second grade.  Third through fifth graders go to Thomas Jefferson School.  Then there is Normandy Park Choice School.

Nearby are several office complexes, including the headquarters of Honeywell the west Wyeth at Giralda Farms to the east and the New NY Jets headquarters & training facility to the north east in Florham Park.

Convent Stations neighborhoods include Bradwahl, Cromwell Hills, Liberty Greens Townhome Community, and the Normandy Parkway Historic District.  These neighborhoods are among the most popular places to live in Morris Twp.  Large unique & affordable homes built on nice sized yards in a community with great education and transportation options makes Convent Station a wonderful choice for home buyers.
